Our Japan Exchange Program accepts students from overseas every year in cooperation with the Board of Education of Ibaraki Prefecture, located about an hour from central Tokyo by express train. Although this program does not offer academic credits, students live and study alongside Japanese students at school, stay with volunteer host families, integrate into the local community, and enjoy an authentic Japanese experience.

The monthly program includes fun trips and a variety of engaging cultural activities, all included in the program package. We welcome students eager to learn more about Japan—a country with a unique culture and history unlike anywhere else in the world!
 

「国際交流プロジェクト」は2019年9月よりスタートし、茨城県知事、茨城県教育庁のご理解のもと、茨城県内の公立高校や私立高校に世界からの留学生を常時受け入れて頂き、学生同士の交流だけでなく、学校、ホストファミリーや各市町村の国際交流協会との連携による地域の方々との生活・文化交流、そして県内企業様のご協賛による、留学生の企業訪問や見学体験により、世界に茨城県や茨城のプロダクトを発信していくプロジェクトです。アメリカ、ヨーロッパ、オセアニアなど世界各国から茨城県内に集まる留学生たちと県内の学生たちが日々交流できる経済格差の無いグローバル環境作りを目指しております。
